meet on Saturday
on a very old
established
course, 9 new
adds to the
Storm top ten
lists that will
be updated in a
few days! Next
Saturday we will
be going to
Pierce College,
it is one of the
top courses we
have ran on and
we have been
going there for
over 40 years.
Can't wait to
see all the
runners on "Puke
Hill".
There will also
be an open 3
mile run at 7:30
before the walk
thru!! All
parents and
Coaches are
encouraged to
come out and
show your kids
you can do it.
The cost is only
$5.00 and it
benefits our
athletes.

last week to
turn in
funds to
receive a
cool Storm
shirt and be
eligible for
the grand
prize. We
use this
fundraiser
to help fund
our end of
the year
awards and
Banquet.
PLEASE turn
in by
thursday
Oct. 6th
each athlete
that turns
in at least
$40.00 will
get the
shirt at the
banquet.

have people
who want to
donate from
out of state
and they
want to use

Scholastic
Awards
We like to award
our athletes
for keeping
their grades up
while running
Each season we
give an academic
medal to
athletes in
school that
maintain a 3.5
(B+) or 4.0
(all A's)
average in their
classes. Please
down load the
form and have
your teachers
fill it out or
attach a report
card ( progress
report) all
forms must be
turned in by
Oct 15th
to receive the
medal!!!
If you lost a
water bottle,
its in the Candy
Box, if you
forgot your
chair, check
with Elaine.

meet will be
at Pierce
College.
Directions
are to take
the 5 south
to the 405
south, to
the 101
West, Exit
at Winnetka
Ave, Turn
Right and go
to
the Calvert/Brahma
Entrance and
Turn Left.
